Mental Health Capacity Management System (CMS)

SMART’s integrated mental health features enable providers to track their patient flow between care settings, as well as view historical and in-day current demand and capacity. Collating information over time, SMART can also assist in informing future capacity planning.

Mental Health Capacity Management View

The mental health capacity management view of the CMS provides a comprehensive overview of adult mental health bed and Section 136 demand and capacity.

Dashboards provide information at Provider, Integrated Care System (ICS) and Regional level, and support improved patient journeys through data transparency and shared situation awareness.

Mental Health Admission Referrals and Repatriation View

Allows providers to have an accurate shared list of patients who have been referred for admission to a mental health bed or for repatriation between mental health providers. Up to three organisations can be nominated within a patient form and each of those providers will have a shared view of that patient record.

Please note that no clinical or patient identifiable information should be placed in any section of a patient form
